The members of Goshin Judo Kan invite all juniorjudo players  to the annual Adelaide Open  Junior Judo Tournament. This is an open membership event and an invite is extended to all junior judo  players regardless of affiliation.

This event is an individual club tournament but conducted with the support  of the Kodokan Judo Association (SA). 

Date: Sunday 13 August 2023

Time: 9.30am – 10am weigh in. 10.30am start. 

Venue: Goshin Judo Centre 

917a South Road, Clarence Gardens, SA 5039. 

Cost: $20.00 players 

$ 5.00 spectator entry 

The tournament is designed specifically for junior players (white to brown belt) from 6 years to 17 years of  age at the date of tournament. Weight divisions will be divided into approx. 5kg groups. However the  Tournament Director reserves the right to alter, amalgamate or create weight divisions as necessary. 

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place getters with special (perpetual) trophies being awarded to the  "Most Outstanding" competitors in the following groups: Male U10yrs, U13yrs, U18yrs & Overall Female. 

We request all clubs entering players to assist by supplying at least 1 referee on the day.  Food and beverages will be available at the venue.
